Conservatives Still Outnumber Liberals in this Country!
Why did Obama feel free to say we are not a Christian nation?
Simple. Public schools no longer teach the basics of our exciting Christian history. Revisionists want the truth made light of and, in time, to be forgotten and erased from the vision of our culture. From crosses to Christmas, liberals are there to take away remaining memories of our past and the basis of our freedoms.
Because our freedoms come from God and not government, liberals know they have to minimize God in our culture in order to control each individual. They have to deny faith and the right to free exercise of religion. Private displays of Christianity are ridiculed as they drive the worship of Christ underground and out of the mainstream. Once that is widely achieved, they can then claim that government is the supreme authority, an authority that can give or take away whatever rights they demand.
Solution? Fight their lies with knowledge.
"Every child in America should be acquainted with his own country. He should read books that furnish him with ideas that will be useful to him in life and practice. As soon as he opens his lips, he should rehearse the history of his own country." -- Noah Webster, 'On the Education of Youth in America,' 1788
"While most nations trace their origin to barbarians, the foundations of our nation were laid by civilized men, by Christians." -- Lyman Beecher, New England clergyman (McGuffey's Eclectic Sixth Reader, 1907)
"A nation which does not remember what it was yesterday, does not know what it is today, nor what it is trying to do." -- President Woodrow Wilson
